USE BEST PRACTICES.
Pocket folders are a great way to present your company’s message in a tactile way that will get your message across, as well as give that wow feeling at the end of the meeting. Here are some ways to ensure your pocket folder is a step above the rest, as well as some dielines and inspiration to get your creative juices flowing.
SIZE UP THE MATERIAL.
One of the most important things about pocket folders is size. Your pocket folder should be designed around the marketing collateral it will be used with. A standard pocket folder size is 9” x 12” with two standard 4-inch pockets and business card slits. To stand out among the rest, you can make slight adjustments on the height and width, pocket sizing, or even pocket location. Use our dielines to get a feel for some creative sizes that will help you stand out.
STAND OUT.
To help your marketing materials stand out, use techniques such as foil, spot gloss UV, laminate, metallic, or fluorescent to ensure your logo is the highlight of the piece. Also be sure your logo is centered and large enough to be the focal point of the piece. Build the design around the content that maters!
MAKE IT TACTILE.
Think about the last time you picked up a piece with embossing, die-cut, soft touch, reticulation, textured paper, or all the above. The tactile element brings a physical interaction with your message. You can achieve this in a multitude of ways and customize it to your message or brand. Give us a call and we can talk through the numerous textured coatings and paper options to help with direction.
